Helping Rhinos
Helping Rhinos is a UK based charitable organisation with a dual focus: creating awareness of the issues threatening the global rhino population and raising funds to help protect them for future generations. Having been passionate about Rhinos for as long as he can remember, Helping Rhinos founder Simon Jones was left shocked and stunned at the pain and suffering inflicted on so many rhinos by the human race. Inspired by the work of anti poaching teams in the field, the dedication of those caring for the victims of poaching and disgusted by the pictures of rhinos whose horns had been brutally hacked off by criminals, Simon decided to do what he can to support the iconic rhino – and HELPING RHINOS was born. Helping Rhinos is a completely voluntary organisation, ensuring that everyone who gets involved does so for the passion of helping to protect the world’s remaining rhinos. It also means that every pound, dollar, rand or any other currency that is donated to them ends up where it is needed most – supporting their field projects.Helping Rhinos works collaboratively with a range of organisations, including My Green World's partner charity, the Black Mamba Anti Poaching Unit.
